ANYWAY IN THE RIGHT PLACE THIS TIME after all that strohl can be found sitting probably on the terrace. the most exciting thing is that strohl jr is here with him still, cutely yawning and cuddled into his side. he's just kind of staring off into the place where execution will be, but he glances up at mordalion when he comes by, then nods, if he wants to sit. ]
[ hot spring! we are in the hot spring. or well, strohl is at least - he looks very happy to be sunken into the outdoor pool, not giving a damn about not having his shirt on. living the LIFE as he leans back on the rocks. maybe he needs this destresser really bad. he probably does.

[ in a sense, it's interesting - parts of this memory whirl with confusion, concepts that go over his head, but others are so violently familiar that they make his heart twist.
he sees himself in this thegrea. her frustration, her sword, her anger, but - his breath catches as she takes after the young man called rorowa, and he feels all of that twist up and curl in his chest, and that silence left behind as mordalion left her there.
it's - it's a lot, and he comes out of it and has to remember how to breathe. he really does remind strohl of heismay, in a lot of ways. his actions, his cleverness, his speed and the shadows with which he melds into, and the rest... ]
[ it's a battle he takes no particular pride in winning, even with all the banter and backtalk weaved into his strategy of watching and waiting. there's a droop to the ends of his ears as they're forced to relive it for him.
strohl's tension is not missed, either, mordalion glancing at him from the corner of his vision even before he finds his voice. with a hum, he tilts his head. ]

mordalion can find him actually talking - it seems like he's talking to himself, but he's talking into his phone. ]

[ he happens to glance up though - spots mordalion, and stops, turning off the voice to text on his phone and shaking his head. ]

[ mordalion crosses through the butterfly garden frequently on his way to the flowerbeds, where tending to the plants has become his prefered way to spend time. tonight he's got an armful of trimmed leaves and flower buds in his arms, but strohl's presence is pretty difficult to ignore.
he shakes his head at the apology, no need for that, but hovers a little awkwardly with all the foliage bundled up. ]
Leaving notes for a girlfriend? Didn't think you the type.
... For Anders, actually. [ help. it's like a funny enough comment that it snaps him out of whatever headspace he was in - there's almost a huff, and he pockets his phone. ]
[ strohl looks a little bit like a cat dropped into a new environment for the first time on the eudora because this is wildly out of his element, but he's been exploring anyway - but when he pokes his head into the combat room, its almost like a breath of relief. finally something kind of normal ]
[ hello!! it's not emotionshare anymore and his thoughts are very subtle but strohl's appearance nevertheless gets a wave and a vague good. he can take that however he wants.
he picks a training longsword off the rack, testing it in his hand. ]
It's better for this purpose than anything the airport has given us.
