We couldn't get to these places on the other side - I would've been clambering the walls knowing I couldn't get here. [ A SPARRING ROOM..... ] They had their own selection of bizarre locations, but none so like this.

I was expecting hellfire, not corn. [ casually taking a few steps back as well, longsword apparently a good enough fit to stick with. ] And a cage, possibly hanging above magma or the like, given the threat I was sent.
[ glances over at strohl's choice of weapon. well... if there was a tier of blade he was used to fighting against by now, it was "big heavy". ]
[ big heavy... his favourite!!! strohl reaches to shed his actual crested sword, leaning it against the wall as he adjusts his stance for the claymore, perfectly picking up the unstated offer to spar. ]
No, nothing like that. [ though he makes such a face about the cage my god ] Anything you think that sounds ominous or bad was far, far more stupid. Don't even get me started on the cage.
[ his own sword has already been propped in a corner, difficult to see without knowing it's there despite its glinting edge. it was going to be a little odd using a traditionally shaped blade again after so long...

What were the accommodations like? Did you have enough spaces to sleep? [ the training sword held to one side in onehanded grip, despite being almost as tall as he was. ] I really am so curious about the cage.
